1 – Contact data
Legal notice, contact information, GDPR: This is where you must be accurate to be on the safe side. So your first step has to be setting and updating the most important information on your website: Who is responsible.
2 – toujou theme
This extensive setting module allows you to set basic preferences for your website’s look and feel. This includes theme, logo, font, color, social media, analytics, data protection, and overlay settings along with the possibility of CSS coding.
3 – Tracking
The continuous monitoring of your website should be an integral part of working with toujou. However, you should know your way around Google Analytics and other webmaster tools before you tackle this area.
4 – Files & media
This is where you will store your pictures, videos and documents. The most critical part of this process is the creation of a proper structure for your folders and the accurate naming of all your files. Your editors and you will benefit from an accurate structure for years to come.
5 – Edit pages/navigation
The TYPO3 page module acts like the floor plan of your website. This is where you will determine the main structure of your website and how visitors will move from one area to another. It is crucial that you do the conceptual work required and come up with a comprehensive plan to ensure that the navigation of your site makes sense for your business and your visitors.
6 – Create and edit page elements
Content is king but page elements will help bring your content to life. Here is where you will learn how to work with the rich text editor and the image editor along with creating and editing mail forms.
7 – toujou element library
The most extensive area in toujou: the collection of all the elements available. Created with sense, understanding and great attention to detail. A shelf, so to speak, with all of the design elements that you can use to enhance your content.
9 – Responsive & mobile first
Your website is most likely to be viewed more frequently on smartphones rather than desktop PCs. You need to ensure that you keep display options for mobile devices in mind and monitor how your website behaves on smaller devices.
10 – Search Engine Optimization/SEO
With the integrated Yoast SEO extension you are able to control keywords, meta tags, and page titles. Once the traffic lights turn green, the visibility of your website on the net will increase.
